Or perhaps you see footage of women in full length burkas and a fiery anger rises in you where you want to cry out.... “FUCK THIS SHIT!!!!! Someone get me off this planet!” Or perhaps you are all of the above…. Welcome Sister, to The Sacred Reveal. A place where we can come together to unravel internalized and ancestral patriarchalization and in a supportive, compassionate and playful environment, remember that as women, our divine birthright is beauty and freedom. Through group connection, therapeutic tremoring - an effective technique that works to release stuck energies and beliefs - guided embodiment practices of artistic self-love and singing we will remember this divine birthright. Once layers of conditioning have been released and we are holding the field of “we are women, we are here to support each other, we are beautiful, we are free” this will be embodied through a guided group process: the Sacred Reveal where the focus is not on what is taken away (‘stripping’), but simply on who we already are and always have been. Let’s say goodbye to the layers of socialization that automatically shrouded our divine light when we incarnated, layers that we came here to purify and shrug off for ourselves, the collective and our ancestors. Together, with playfulness, the beauty of ritual and creative art processes, this “shrugging off” becomes a joyful process full of laughter, and yes a few tears (maybe even some anger when we think of the BS we have been swallowing), but you will be safely held and emerge with a deeper love, appreciation for and dedication to cherishing your body. Your divine vessel you are currently caretaker of. Your temple that you are priestess to. As women our bodies are beautiful, expressive and creative vessels and the world shifts and the Mother sings in delight as more women live and breathe this as truth, rather than remain covered by the shroud of lies and shame placed upon us in the last 6,000 years. (The first laws about covering up appeared in ancient Mesopotamia legal dictating that 'respectable' women had to wear veils and long tunics in public, while enslaved women and sex workers were banned from covering up under penalty of law. Ergo - rich men stopped other men looking at their wives' bodies and they could remain ‘pure’ while all the blokes could ogle at 'lower class' women’s bodies. Social hierarchy and division was made visible through control of women's bodies via clothes.) Fuck that shit!

Meanwhile we who see through this and instead claim our birthright of beauty and freedom are supported by the hundreds of millions of women who walked as nature, free of shame, on this land and in our deep ancestral past.

We are supported by the ancestral reverence for the divine feminine that still sings in our blood, by Mother Gaia, Hathor, Isis, the Magdalen line, Sheela-na-Gigs (really any divine feminine archetype YOU wish to be inspired by - including the sister next to you) and by the Australian pioneers of this work; Vali Myers and Gurlesque. Alongside this paradigm shifting journey, participants will learn the practical art of life modeling, including how to pose comfortably and confidently, explore a range of poses, work with artists, and how to create and facilitate their own life drawing sessions as a potential source of income. The day concludes with a life drawing experience where participants will have the opportunity to model for one another in pairs, grounding the stronger sense of safety, self-acceptance, confidence, self-love and embodied freedom cultivated throughout the workshop. This immersive workshop runs from 10am - 4pm and is facilitated by two experienced women who combine the practical skills of professional life modeling with powerful embodied practices for self-discovery and personal transformation.
